Ingredients
525g SUNSWEET prunes480ml SUNSWEET Prune Juice
90g peeled fresh ginger, finely chopped
1 lemon, sliced and seeded
Honey to taste (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring all ingredients except honey to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, or until excess liquid has cooked off, stirring occasionally. Add honey if a sweeter taste is preferred.
TIP: serve warm or cold as a breakfast side, alongside meat dishes, or as a light dessert.
