Country Loaf

 

Ingredients:
  • 200g pitted SUNSWEET prunes
  • 100g nuts
  • 500g flour
  • 25g baking powder
  • 300ml warm water with salt
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
Method:
1. Dissolve baking powder in two spoons of extra virgin olive oil and warm salt water, then mix it with the flour.

2. Chop up the pitted SUNSWEET prunes and the nuts and add them to the mixture.

3. Allow the mixture to rest for about ten minutes, then form small rolls with the mixture and place on baking tray.

4. Allow the mixture to rise for approximately half an hour in a warm room.

5. Bake for about 20 minutes at 160o / 180o C and serve.
