Sunsweet is continuing its commitment to a green future and is working hard on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
From reducing waste to finding new ways to utilize production bi-products, our commitment to quality extends past simply providing the quality trusted products you’ve come to expect from Sunsweet.
Here are a few of the ways in which we’re moving towards a "green" future:
- Reducing the amount of packaging used in Sunsweet products
- Recycling all packaging waste, glass, PET, fiber and cans
- Utilizing energy-efficient lighting and steam power in our factory facility
- Developing new ways to utilize production bi-products (The bi-products from our dryers use no landfill space as we send about two thirds of it to compost and the balance is supplemental feed for livestock)
